Comp Info
- All members and parents are expected to help out at competition rounds.
- All surfers must be financial before competing.
- There are between 9-11 club rounds are held (determined that year).
- Club members to judge after their heat & follow club rules.
- Heats are between 15-20-minutes (dependent on conditions and determined on 15-20-minutes (dependent on conditions and determined on the day).
- Heats start from the water, paddle out on yellow flag.
- Green flag & hooter starts the heat.
- Red flag & Hooter ends the heat.
- Return comp rashie & get ready to judge.
- Check your results, as you will surf again if you placed 1st or 2nd.
- Often 2 heats will run at the same time on 2 banks.
- The area between the banks is off limits to members, free surfing is permitted outside the flags.
- No parent or carer allowed in the judging tent during child's heat.
